Hi,
The submitted studies had purpose of studying the value. Quick sketches under one hour each. Please critique regarding value study. Good things about them, mistakes you see and how do you think I can improve. Reference was as follows: "one" and "two" from b/w photos and three was from life on location. Thank you,

I think you are missing more contrast in this piece. I can see some shadows between trees, but I think one larger, dark area would make the picture better (similar to your two other studies). Apart from the light area at the right down corner the rest looks like one mass of middle value. I have these problems too with structuring my pictures, so I hope this short note will help.
