Hi Char! I really liked this piece and I’m in love with the dog, it’s so expressive you drew it so well!
There are two things I would say about the overall image. (I know it’s watercolor and you can’t edit, but maybe something to keep in mind for the next ones.
The animals would stand out more with a shift in contrast. Some of them are getting mixed with the background, specially the horse’s back.
Other thing is, the reflected light of the sand is too yellow on the horse, cause it’s the same (or too close) to the color of the sand. For reflected light is always good to think that, it reflects weaker and the object that receives it don’t lose its color, so it’s like a slight mixture of the colors.
I love this Clint Cearley’s video about contrasts and I always go back to it when I am working on contrasts, it’s always good to remember.

Hope my crit helps! Yours in my work was so good, I wanted to help you too!
Awesome info! I love Youtube videos about art, so that was super helpful to include also <3 I definitely think I went a bit overboard with the saturation on the reflections. It's kind of hard with lighter coloured things because sometimes they can pick up a ton of reflection and sometimes not as much, it's not always easy to tell which situation it's going to be. I'll keep it in mind going forward though! I really appreciate your taking the time to crit n comment 🙂
