Hi Fernando!
I like where you are going with this, but I think you can work more on it.
The face is very refined but the body is almost flat, with little to no texture: face and body are very different colors too, so they don’t seem part of the same creature.
I’m not sure about the muscles in the arms: I’m not great with anatomy, but I’d suggest you to compare with “human” muscles.
If you want to go for a hunched figure, try to exaggerate it more! The figure is very static as it.
I would push the overall values a little more, to make the figure more round. Remember to limit your use of blacks in the shadows!
Love the axe! Nice shape and texture. Your rendering of metal in the armor is great as well, you really aced that bumped look. Maybe add hints of rust and dirt?

Hey Fernando –
Great design. I like this guy 🙂
I’d suggest a couple of things:
1. Use reference to train your anatomy. There are some areas that make my brain buzz trying to figure out what the anatomy is doing.
2. Push the gesture. If this guy is a hunchback lumbering menace….really make it feel like he’s got weight and movement
3. Use some perspective so it feels like he is occupying space, and the axe is coming toward you.
It is a great concept! Keep pushing it!
Sorry for the crappy draw over. The S&C paint engine is kind of clunky.
Looks fantastic, I’d alter the poses of one of them to add more motion, make it more dynamic
