I WOULD LIKE HELP WITH
Just the sketch, I want to make sure the eye flow is ok, and that it’s not too heavy on the top.

Gahhhhh, I love your work so much, Hope!!! I can’t wait to see this one finished!
The thing that jumps out at me most is that the human figure feels way too close to the bottom of the paper.
As for the flow, I think it’s working. A human figure, maybe a dark color as if in shadow or backlit, is enough to draw my eye downward. But if you wanted to put a bit more vegetation in the environment, I think it might sort out your concerns.
Trying the drawover feature now– wish me luck! 🙂
I think you could help direct the eye a little using the highlights and shadows of the river as it sparkles in the sun– could make a bit of an arc with the ripples to direct the eye to the person.
I feel the moth is such a glorious feature, and it might be more harmonious with the rest of the picture if you tilted it even more, make the shape really engaging.
Finally, I stuck some bushes on the edge to break up the horizon line, just personal preference, but I think it adds a nice “doorstop” to keep my eye on the page.
Again, I cannot wait for this piece to be finished! Your work is pure magic! <3
Thank you, the paper at the bottom I noticed was cut off a bit but I agree, she could stand to be a little higher. Thanks for the suggestions!!
My pleasure!
